Step 1
1A. Find the Settings icon and tap on it.
1B. Then scroll down through settings and find Mail, then tap on it.

2A. Tap Accounts.
2B. Then tap Add Account.

3A. Next you will have to choose the account type. Select Other.
3B. Then tap on Add Mail Account.
Step 4
In this tutorial we are adding John Smith‘s work email (Site Dudes) to his iPhone.
First you have to enter your email account’s information: Your Name, Your Email Address, Your Password and Description (optional).
Tap Next in the top right corner of the screen.
Step 5
Now you will want to select POP at the top of the screen.
Next you have to enter your email account’s information: Your Name, Your Email Address, Your Password and Description (optional).
Then you will have to enter the Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server information: Host Name, Your Email Address and Your Password. The information is the same for both servers.
The Host Name uses the domain of your website, with mail. at the beginning, to access your domain’s mail servers. In this tutorial, since John Smith works at Site Dudes he will use the Host Name, mail.sitedudes.com
Tap Save in the top right corner of the screen.

6A. A prompt will appear, asking you if you would like to set up the mail account without SSL. Select No. Please note this notice may appear twice.
6B. Then tap Save in the top right corner of the screen.
Step 7
7A. A prompt will appear at the bottom of your screen. Tap Save.
7B. Now you will see your email account has been added to your Mail accounts. Tap on the newly added account.
Step 8
Here you will see all the account information and server information previously entered.
8A. Scroll down and near the bottom you will see the Outgoing Mail Server being used. Tap on SMTP.
8B. Then on the next screen tap on Primary Server.
Step 9
Here you will be able to edit the Outgoing Mail Server information.
Make sure server is ON.
Set SSL to OFF.
Set Authentication to Password.
Set Server Port to 26.
Tap Save. After the information is saved, tap Done to return to the previous screen. Once on the previous screen, tap on Advanced.
Step 10
Under Incoming Settings:
Set SSL to OFF.
Set Authentication to Password.
Set Delete From Server to Never.
Set Server Port to 110.
Under S/MIME, set Sign and Encrypt by Default to No.
Tap the back button in the top left corner of the screen. Then tap Done in the top right corner of the screen to save the information and complete the account setup.
Step 11
Now you will want to test the newly added email account by sending an email and receiving a reply.
11A. Find the Mail app and tap on it.
11B. Tap the button in the bottom right corner of the screen to start writing a new email.
Send the email to a working email address and send an email back to your newly added account.
If you are unable to send or receive email please double check the SMTP and Advanced settings for the account (refer to steps 6-8).
